Teoni - Honey
Honey, Teoni’s debut solo exhibition, presents fifteen paintings and a film that delve into different avenues of her life and her encounters with people. Rooted in her signature brushwork and use of yellow-toned canvases, the works depict tender domestic moments of friends and family, framed through the eyes of a young woman.
Teoni draws on personal photographs to explore the resilience and beauty found in everyday life, offering a textured reflection on the people she crosses in her life. Through layered surfaces and storytelling, Honey becomes both a tribute to those around her and an exploration of love and care. The exhibition highlights how intimacy and memory shape our sense of belonging, with Teoni’s practice transforming fleeting moments into lasting visual records. By celebrating overlooked gestures and relationships, Honey situates itself as a deeply personal yet universally resonant body of work, rich in warmth, generosity, and emotional clarity.
