In July 2025, fynn studio supported All Terrain Training [ATT] was selected to perform as part of Whitechapel Gallery’s London Open Live programme. After piloting their second show Parasound at Voo Space, Berlin supported by Adidas in 2024 Whitechapel’s platform was the perfect stage to debut the new show and begin the second wave of ATT’s creative narrative.
As the 10th offering from ATT, Parasound provided audiences with a surreal insight into an ethereal yet technocratic, narrative-driven world of movement. In a convergence of data-collecting, sound summoning and equipment ritualism, Parasound left us believing in the power of group cohesion yet engulfed in a sense of augmented harmony, with our pursuit for clarity surrounding our existence still unresolved.
Through the repurposing of climbing equipment, the Parasound team connect to one another using wires and harnesses, creating a web across which violin bows glide in an act both pragmatic and otherworldly. The modular structure formed by the performing bodies becomes a vehicle for both collective movement and sonic texture. In a demonstration of group cohesion, the performers find their place among one another, incubating the space between a sports team and a practical workforce. Together, the Parasound collective uses ethereal sound to craft a world balanced between fantasy and function.
fynn studio has supported the development of All Terrain Training over several years, offering curatorial input and collaboration through regular dialogue and project framing since 2020.
